The Community Empowerment Council joined the Grant County Fall Carnival to share prevention resources, engage with families, and support a safe and fun community event. The carnival brought together local organizations, families, and youth for an afternoon filled with games, activities, and opportunities to learn more about community programs and healthy choices.
CEC staff distributed prevention materials, shared helpful information with parents and youth, and connected with community members in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. The event provided a great opportunity to reinforce positive messages, answer questions about prevention services, and build stronger relationships with residents throughout the county.
Participants enjoyed festive fall-themed activities, music, treats, and interactive booths hosted by various community partners. CEC’s prevention table offered colorful RAAD bags, drug-free pledges, and take-home resources designed to support families in encouraging safe, healthy decision-making.
Events like the Grant County Fall Carnival help strengthen community connections and create space for meaningful conversations in a fun setting. CEC is grateful for the opportunity to participate and for the partners who made this event possible.
Together, we continue working to build supportive, informed, and resilient communities.
