Community Empowerment Council was excited to join the City of Pine Bluff for the Mistletoe Magic Christmas Extravaganza and Christmas Parade in downtown Pine Bluff. This festive community event brought families, youth, and local organizations together to celebrate the holiday season, and our team was proud to be on site sharing prevention resources and positive messaging.
During the event, our staff tabled and distributed prevention materials, educational resources, and goodies to community members of all ages. These materials focused on substance abuse prevention, healthy decision-making, and promoting safe, supportive environments for youth and families. The parade atmosphere created a welcoming space for meaningful conversations while keeping prevention messages accessible and engaging.
Tabling at community events like this allows Community Empowerment Council to meet people where they are, build trust, and reinforce the importance of prevention in a fun and family-friendly way. We were grateful for the opportunity to connect with residents, answer questions, and provide resources that support healthier communities across our service area.
