The Community Empowerment Council and partners invited families to join us for the Teen Driving ROADEO, a hands-on safety event designed to prepare new and soon-to-be teen drivers. Youth and their parents rotated through educational stations that cover key safety topics to help teens feel more confident behind the wheel.

This free event is open to all Jefferson County and surrounding-area schools. No pre-registration is required.

Educational stations include:

• Graduated Driver Licensing Law

• Vehicle Maintenance

• Sharing the Road with Semi-Trucks

• Distracted Driving

• Mock Traffic Stops

It was an engaging, informative experience led by law enforcement, safety organizations, and community partners who are committed to keeping our youth safe on the road.
