Be the Change Awards Honor Travis Harden with 2025 Youth Leadership Award

The Youth Leadership Award honors a young person in our community who has shown exceptional leadership and a commitment to positive change. This year, we are proud to recognize Travis Terrell Harden, a young man whose accomplishments and vision reflect the very essence of leadership.

Travis, a senior at Pine Bluff High School, has maintained a 3.25 GPA and is already making his mark as a leader in his community. As the current president of the Pine Bluff Kappa League, he actively mentors and guides his peers, helping shape the next generation of leaders. His passion for service is also reflected in his role as chairperson for the media ministry at Greater Mount Calvary MBC, where his father is the pastor.

In addition to his leadership roles, Travis was a former running back for the Pine Bluff Zebras and continues to be an inspiration to his peers both on and off the field. After graduating in May 2025, he plans to attend the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, majoring in Criminal Justice, with the goal of attending law school and eventually becoming an attorney. Travis has his sights set on making a lasting impact in the legal field, aspiring to one day serve as a United States Supreme Court Justice.

Outside of academics and leadership, Travis enjoys spending time with his family, hanging out with friends, playing video games, and working in the community. His dedication to being a positive role model for others and his commitment to bettering his community are traits that make him a standout young leader.

We are honored to celebrate Travis’ outstanding leadership and bright future with the 2025 Youth Leadership Award.
