The Fatherhood Excellence Award recognizes a father who empowers his family and community through leadership, love, and active engagement. This year, we are proud to honor Lew’cious Wells, a dedicated father, advocate, and role model who embodies what it means to be the change.
Raised in Pine Bluff and born in Lawton, Oklahoma, Lew’cious Wells is the proud father of Lana and Jaycee Wells. He currently serves as Advocate Supervisor for Voices for Children, where he works to protect and uplift youth navigating the foster care system.
Beyond his professional work, Lew’cious is deeply involved in the community. He is the founder and CEO of Pine Bluff Saracen Chiefs, a nonprofit organization that mentors young people through the power of sports. He is also the owner of GoodTime Rentals, a Black-owned small business that brings families and communities together through fun and celebration.
A proud Pine Bluff High School alumnus and athletics volunteer, Lew’cious continues to give back to the very school and city that helped shape him. His hobbies include coaching youth sports, crafting and building things with his children, swimming, watching Jeopardy!, and playing spirited rounds of Madden, Monopoly, and UNO. His passion for both sports and art fuels his creativity and connection to those around him.
Through his example as a present and purposeful father, committed community leader, and champion for youth development, Lew’cious Wells is making a lasting impact. We are honored to recognize his influence and dedication with the 2025 Fatherhood Excellence Award.
