About Us

Our Story

Our Journey So Far

Founded in August 2009 by Tony J. Anderson, Community Empowerment Council began with a vision of creating stronger, healthier communities through prevention and support services. From our initial focus on substance abuse prevention, we’ve grown to offer comprehensive community support services while maintaining our commitment to evidence-based prevention programs.

Our Mission

Our mission at Community Empowerment Council, Inc. is to empower individuals through education, providing housing and services necessary to help at-risk individuals live productive and meaningful lives. We continue to build permanent connections with community stakeholders and partner with local officials in city government.

Our Vision

We envision communities where every individual has access to the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through prevention, education, and community engagement, we work to create lasting positive change in White Hall and beyond.
